Open Mic Night is trying something new in the times of Covid-19. How about meeting in the park on September 1st? It’s outside, you can spread out, breathe the fresh air, and stay as far apart as you like! Dennis Lawson, the Open Mic coordinator reserved the pavilion at Norma B. Handloff park for this special event. It’s meeting earlier than usual, 6-7:30pm and not 7-9pm as usual. So come early, bring a lawn chair, some snacks if you want, maybe some bug spray and sign up to read or perform or just enjoy what others are sharing. $5 donations appreciated as Dennis had to pay $50 for the pavillion (ouch!). There won’t be a mic, just our voices. Don’t forget to wear your mask! See you there!
